Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient - (PTA)

This temp-direct PTA position is based in Indian Land, South
Carolina, a vibrant and rapidly growing suburb just south of
Charlotte. The area offers a blend of quiet, comfortable
neighborhoods with quick access to city amenities, shopping,
dining, and entertainment. Residents enjoy nearby parks, greenways,
and recreational activities, making it an appealing location for an
active lifestyle and a strong work-life balance.The role is in a
modern outpatient orthopedic clinic with a strong emphasis on
post-operative rehabilitation. You will see a primarily adult
population with a heavy post-op caseload, including joint
replacements and a wide range of orthopedic procedures. The typical
expectation is about 12 patient visits per day, allowing you to
focus on quality, individualized care rather than excessive
volume.This is a full-time schedule with 5 eight-hour shifts,
Monday through Friday. Clinic hours are generally Monday through
Thursday 7:20 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,
with an expected 40-hour workweek and no on-call requirements. You
will work closely with physical therapists and support staff in a
collaborative environment focused on patient outcomes, clear
communication, and efficient workflows.A typical day includes
assisting with evaluations and following established plans of care,
progressing therapeutic exercises, applying manual techniques as
indicated, educating patients on home programs, and documenting
visits in the EMR. The setting offers a consistent caseload,
predictable schedule, and the opportunity to build strong rapport
with patients during their recovery process.
