cook position for our community located in Colfax, NC, close to

- Able to speak, read, and understand English.
- Always maintain a professional appearance.
- MUST have a passion for providing excellent customer
- Clean Criminal background.
- Show evidence of a negative TB skin test within last 12 months
or its equivalent.
- Able to work holidays and weekends.
- Knowledge of all kitchen equipment.
- Minimum of 2 years of general cooking experience or at least 1
year of institutional cooking with knowledge of therapeutic
- Keep maintenance logs to ensure the safety and serviceability
of all equipment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Prepare all food items that are listed on the production sheets
according to the meal.
- Follow production sheets that allocate foods to be distributed
to the dining room and therapeutic serving areas and standardized
recipe and production sheets.
- Make recommendations to Dining Manager.
- Other job duties as assigned. Associated topics: baker, cafe,
