Job Description:
Aramark is seeking a passionate and dedicated Chef Manager for
Concord University's dining services. This role is pivotal in
overseeing the daily operations of the dining facilities, ensuring
the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer
service. The Chef Manager will lead a team of culinary
professionals, plan and execute menus, and manage inventory and
budgeting to achieve operational excellence. This position requires
a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is
committed to providing students and staff with exceptional dining
experiences. Lead, train, and manage kitchen personnel and
supervise all culinary activities. Plan and create menus, including
determining portion sizes and ingredient lists. Ensure adherence to
health and safety regulations regarding food preparation and
serving. Manage food and labor costs within the budgetary
guidelines set by the organization. Establish relationships with
vendors and suppliers to negotiate prices and order supplies.
Perform administrative duties such as maintaining records of meal
counts, purchases, and inventory. Regularly interact with students
and university staff to receive feedback and adjust menus
accordingly. Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness
and organization within the kitchen. Strong leadership and people
management skills Advanced knowledge of food preparation and
hygiene Budget management and cost control Ability to work under
pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Creative thinking for menu planning and
