Job Description:
Banquet Server - Taylor Hospitality at the Institute of Advanced
Learning and Research Compensation: $15.00 per Hour Provides food
and beverage services to guests in a friendly, efficient, and
professional manner; always ensures a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities Focus on serving food and beverages to guests,
Helps prepare for and clean up after events. Provides prompt and
courteous service to all guests. Assists with event preparation,
room set up and tear down of tables, chairs, and place settings.
Assists with catering staff members as needed, to ensure optimum
service for all guests. May direct guests throughout the event.
Must maintain cleanliness and sanitation. Performs other related
duties as assigned by management. Support other staff to ensure
guest satisfaction. Must adhere to safety and quality regulations.
Maintain composure in a demanding environment. Requirements and
Skills: Strong organizational skills: ability to manage priorities
and workflow. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work
within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Exemplifies
good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
Creative, flexible, and innovative collaborator. Professional
appearance and demeanor. Ability to effectively communicate with
people at all levels and from various backgrounds. Proven work
experience as a Banquet Server or similar role. Must be
professional and courteous to other staff and guests. The ability
to meet the physical demands of the job, such as staying on your
feet, climbing stairs, and carrying heavy objects. Excellent
interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. Ability
to work as part of a team and follow instructions. Relevant
training and/or certifications The Banquet Server will collaborate
with a team of other servers and catering staff throughout each
event and are supervised by a General Manager who sets schedules
and oversees the events. Additional Information: Please note this
