As the Senior Generalist, Human Resources, you'll be responsible for Human Resources (HR) activities, including staffing, program management, and assisting with HR administration. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Information Technology team to provide counsel and guidance to managers and employees on various aspects of employment, performance, development, etc.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience
  • Assist managers with performance management, talent management, training initiatives, coaching, etc.
  • Work closely with the Immigration Team to manage administration of various immigration efforts for foreign nationals in the IT team
  • Conduct various data analysis for use in supporting the Supply Chain IT organization.
  • Act as the first line of response for Leaves of Absence, payroll questions, data changes, policy application, certification programs, general inquiries, etc.
  • Assist with various compensation and promotional activities
  • Support summer intern and XPO Graduate Program – Supply Chain IT efforts
  • Manage various aspects of projects and initiatives as neededWhat you need to succeed at XPO:At a minimum, you'll need:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
    • 2 years of HR experience, including compensation, HRIS administration, HR management, and employee relations with at least 1 year of professional recruitment experience
    • Experience working in HRIS and time/attendance systems
    • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)It'd be great if you also have:
      • 4 years of HR experience
      • Professional HR certification
      • Bilingual English/Spanish
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
      • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environmentBe part of something big.
