Job Description:

As the technical recruiter you will source and identify the best talent available across all markets. You will facilitate interviews, negotiate salaries, and close candidates for a variety of technical and professional (engineering, quality, product, software, sales) positions. You are also responsible for ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle; helping to build a strong employer brand and attracting high-performing, experienced candidates. You will guide and influence business leaders and hiring managers while partnering with extended stakeholders throughout HR and senior leadership by managing the entire recruiting process. You will also provide basic HR support to plant personnel, as needed.The position offers full benefits including 401k with match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, 5% annual performance bonus and hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote).Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Effectively and efficiently source qualified, diverse pool of candidates for positions utilizing the company ATS database, Linkedin Recruiter, job board resume database, social media and other sourcing tools.Build and maintain talent pipelines through targeted candidate relationship interactions.Partner closely with business leaders, developing tailored sourcing strategies to deliver a diverse pipeline of talent for current and future needs.Negotiate job offers to close candidates by highlighting company benefits, programs, and other key incentives.Represent Fortis as a true Brand Ambassador by providing an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate throughout the recruiting process.Understand and communicate labor market conditions and the impact on availability of talent in the market; proactively adjust recruiting strategies to obtain hiring goals.Communicate effectively with business leadership, hiring managers, and interview teams to ensure preparedness during the interview process. Share and exchange information with all stakeholders.Together with HR leadership, develop metrics and KPIs to track recruiting and talent pipeline data and results.Take part in creation, implementation, and maintenance of recruiting/sourcing programs.Manage interview process, including timely feedback and offers, to ensure efficient and positive candidate experience.Engage with senior leadership on future talent needs, striving to continuously develop and maintain talent pipelines for those future workforce needs, utilizing a reliable tracking method (HRIS, ATS, LinkedIn, etc).Maintain appropriate follow up with each candidate in the pipeline, ensuring that all rejected applicants are dispositioned in a timely and professional manner.Process drug screens and conduct reference and background checks as necessary.Manage and maintain requisition approval process and job postings per proper procedures.Assist in the placement of temporary employees and managing agency relationships.Plan and attend various recruitment functions for the organization, including job fairs, open houses, and college career hiring events.Effectively and efficiently utilize company recruiting tool (ATS) to manage applicant pipeline and move candidates through the hiring process.Assist with and facilitate new hire onboarding sessions and preparations.Collaborate across the HR team to support the organizations entire talent acquisition process and strategy. This may include training HR team members in use of tools and technology, mentoring HR team on candidate interaction, and filling in for other team members to work additional positions.Additional tasks as required.Requirements:Education and Experience:Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related field desired.Minimum of 2 years of technical, full cycle recruiting experience required; 3-5 years of recruiting experience preferred, in a manufacturing or similar industry.Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a high volume of open requisitions.Valid drivers license with acceptable clean motor vehicle record (MVR).Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must be proficient with utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).Must be outgoing, friendly, professional.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a strong customer service focus.Sound interviewing and evaluations techniques which demonstrate good judgment and adherence to applicable laws and guidelines.Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with diverse hiring managers and become a trusted partner.Strategic and creative problem solver.Ability to prioritize and complete projects on deadline.Organized and detail oriented.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, calendar, etc.) and Google applicationsAble to operate all standard office equipment (phones, computers, copy machine, fax, scanner, printer, projector, etc)Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneTraining Requirements:Willing to attend required training courses or sessions related to the job as assigned.Physical Demands:Lifting, sitting, standing, crouching, repetitive tasksPass a pre-employment drug test and subject to random drug screening.Work Environment:Regular exposure to dust and noise in the production environment.Personal Protective Equipment:Proper eye protection is required when working near production floor machinery.Travel requirements:Travel will be required, up to 20% annually.Fortis Solutions Group is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
