  • 401 K with Company Match Junior Software Developer Summary:The Junior Software Developer is responsible for assisting in developing, testing, and troubleshooting software. Junior Software Developer Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Assisting the development manager with all aspects of software design and coding.
    • Attending and contributing to company development meetings.
      • Learning the codebase and improving your coding skills.
      • Writing and maintaining code.
      • Working on minor bug fixes.
      • Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems.
      • Responding to requests from the development team.
      • Gathering information from consumers about program functionality.
      • Writing reports.
      • Conducting development tests.
        • All other duties and tasks as assigned.
        • Maintain clean and safe workspace, while achieving productivity and quality standards. Junior Software Developer Required Education, Knowledge & Skills:
          • Strong business acumen where deadlines are adhered to and met.
          • Knowledge of basic coding languages including C++, .NET windows server, SSRS (SQL Server Report Builder).
          • Basic programming experience.
          • Knowledge of databases and operating systems.
          • Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software.
          • Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
          • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
            • Detail-oriented.
            • Excellent attendanceJunior Software Developer Physical Requirements:
              • Must be able to communicate clearly.
              • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to routinely sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear, use hands and fingers to keyboard, turn handles, feel, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, crawl, reach, and stretch.
              • The employee occasionally moves around the office and enters the manufacturing areas.
              • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
              • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.Work Environment:Light to Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, printers, light traffic, and manufacturing noise from adjoining wall plant) Ability to sit at a computer station for an extended period of time. Manufacturing work environment that has frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, noise intensity level, proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to weather.
