Job Description:

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Mainframe Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.

The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.

Responsibilities: Design, code, test, and implement mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to existing mainframe applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mainframe applications and systems
Conduct unit testing and participate in system and integration testing of mainframe applications
Provide support and expertise for mainframe-related inquiries and incidents


Requirements: 7+ years of mainframe development experience
COBOL
