following job description: The Data Governance Consultant is
responsible for supporting Data Governance across the enterprise,
enabling business growth while ensuring compliance with risk and
regulatory expectations. The position partners with various
business and technology stakeholders to influence and drive
adoption of related Enterprise Data Management strategies,
policies, standards and control frameworks. The role evaluates
established and emerging data practices and technologies to drive
the team's direction, while implementing innovative processes and
solutions to provide competitive advantage while meeting rigorous
control and oversight mandates. For this opportunity, Truist will

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential

change from time to time. Develop and maintain standards,
procedures, and technology in support of enterprise Data
Governance. Create and implement processes and procedures to
support data standards and control frameworks. Provide subject
matter expertise in the planning and execution of data management
activities such as data sharing, metadata management, data quality,
data privacy or retention and disposition requirements. Drive
solution design and execution of multi-pronged data governance
efforts that span across platforms and business/technology areas to
address enterprise data needs. Implement strategic data governance
capabilities by working with business and technology partners to
document requirements and create action plans. Perform oversight
and inspection of critical data management controls for adherence
to established data policies and frameworks. Identify data issues
and work with technology, risk and business partners to triage,
track, communicate, mitigate and remediate the issues to closure.
Support the production of metrics and measures to track progress
and adherence, escalating as needed to various committees for
visibility and program accountability. Understand and integrate
relevant regulations and industry trends into work plans, exploring
emerging frameworks and assessing feasibility using proof of
concepts. Collaborate closely with peer teams to ensure
coordination, synergy and seamless overall execution. Champion and
drive improvement in enterprise data management practices
throughout the organization. QUALIFICATIONS Required
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of

field, eight years of experience in roles with increasing
responsibilities in technology, data management, governance, risk
or related practice or equivalent education and related training or
experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data sharing
processes both internal and external Large program strategic
planning/execution across multiple functions History of effective
performance within shared service, matrix or federated environments
Internal or external consulting experience Experience with controls
testing and risk assessments Knowledge of data tools and platforms
used for managing, storing, querying, testing, loading and
transforming data (e.g. SAS, Informatica, Oracle, Teradata) or
relevant data certifications (e.g. CIPP, CIPM) General Description
