us! Position Summary Enterprise Risk Finance Technology’s ‘Global
Funding Investment and Insurance Technology (GFIIT)’ team is
seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong Java
expertise to join our team and work on developing applications that
support the Corporate Treasury and CIO business goals. The
successful candidate will work on designing, building and
maintaining high-priority, highly-available applications for our
business partners. The role will involve partnering with key
stakeholders, teammates and technology management throughout the
software delivery lifecycle to meet business requirements. The
ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full technology
stack, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys
collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust,
scalable solutions. This job is responsible for developing and
delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key
responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is
developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance
requirements, and solutions are well designed with
maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the
outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development
and testing practices common to the industry and design and
architectural patterns. Responsibilities: Codes solutions and unit
test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance
criteria and compliance requirements Designs, develops, and
modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and
solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity
is maintained Mentors other software engineers and coach team on
Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices
and automating tool stack Executes story refinement, definition of
requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story
through the delivery lifecycle Performs spike/proof of concept as
necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas Automates manual
release activities Designs, develops, and maintains automated test
suites (integration, regression, performance) Design, develop, and
maintain end?to?end web applications using Java and modern
front?end technologies. Build and maintain RESTful APIs , backend
services, and integrations with external systems. Develop
responsive and dynamic UI components using frameworks such as
Angular. Write clean, efficient, well?documented code and perform
code reviews. Ensure application quality through unit testing ,
integration testing, and debugging. Collaborate closely with
product managers, teammates and other engineering teams to satisfy
requirements and deliver highly performant resilient applications.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Participate in CI/CD pipelines , cloud deployments, and
container?based architectures. Stay current with emerging
technologies and propose improvements to tools, processes, and
architecture. Required Qualifications 7 years of experience as a
full-stack Java developer. Strong experience in Java, Spring,
Angular, NodeJS, Oracle, SQL. Working experience in Spring
Framework, Hibernate etc. and CI/CD tools – GIT, Bitbucket,
Jenkins, Maven, Ansible. Well-rounded full-stack Java developer
with strong back-end and front-end development skills. Design and
development experience in web services using RESTful web API, JSON.
Experience with modern application architecture including
Containers, Microservices, Cloud and Secure coding principles.
Experience with Tomcat/Apache application servers. Excellent
debugging and problem-solving skills that exhibit a willingness to
take ownership with enthusiasm in the face of technical challenges.
Agile development with ability to refine Jira issues with all
required acceptance criteria and knowledge to maintain code
versioning releases. Skilled in writing Unit Tests, or Test-Driven
Development , Junit, karma-jasmine. Strong communication skills,
written and verbal. Experience interacting with Business product
owners and end users to define new software requirements and triage
any issues that arise. Desired Qualifications: 2 years of relevant
work experience Proficiency in programming language(s) required for
the role Working experience in OpenShift, Unix, Kafka, Splunk.
Python, Quartz experience. Data analytics or modelling. Financial
services industry knowledge/experience in Capital Markets, Hedging,
Cash Management etc. Skills: Application Development Automation
