is seeking an experienced Attorney with a minimum of three (3)
years of litigation experience to join its Healthcare Litigation
and Medical Malpractice Defense team. This position offers a unique
opportunity to work with leading hospitals, clinics, and healthcare
providers on complex and high-exposure matters. About the Role: The
successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload of
healthcare-related litigation, including medical malpractice
defense, professional liability, and other complex litigation
matters. You will collaborate with a team of experienced trial
attorneys, gaining exposure to challenging and rewarding cases in
both state and federal courts. This role is ideal for an attorney
who thrives in a collaborative environment, values mentorship and
professional growth, and enjoys developing strong client
relationships. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of case
handling, from initial investigation and discovery through trial
and appeal. Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and
participate in mediations and settlement negotiations. Communicate
effectively with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel.
Provide legal analysis, strategic recommendations, and status
updates to clients. Work closely with senior attorneys and partners
to develop litigation strategies and trial preparation plans.
Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school. Active North
Carolina Bar admission required. Minimum of 3 years of litigation
experience, preferably in healthcare or medical malpractice
defense. Strong written and oral advocacy skills with the ability
to present complex legal concepts clearly. Excellent client service
and interpersonal communication skills. Organized, self-motivated,
and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced
