In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across multiple destinations, maintaining strict adherence to schedules and compliance with all state and federal regulations. Safely operate Ryder's trucks and transport goods as part of a team across various destinations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper handling and timely maintenance Comply with all DOT regulations and maintain a clean driving record Manage route efficiency and timely deliveries, updating dispatch on ETA or any pertinent issues Handle documentation thoroughly and accurately for each shipment Assist in loading and unloading as needed, ensuring cargo is secured Focus on safety protocols and customer service Proficient in GPS and route management tools Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Adaptability to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) DOT medical card Clean driving record
