This position ensures accurate, complete, efficient input and
maintenance of program data software systems and assists in
creating training plans for staff. Ability to articulate well
verbally and in writing. Ensures all information is accurate for
the Head Start Program Information Report, and collects data for,
prepares, and submits the annual report. Provides support and
training to staff in using agency technology and coordinates
technology services, assists in maintaining the system.

good practice and training to minimize risk to children. You must
take positive steps to protect children who may be a subject of
concern and report and respond to any instance of child abuse and
promote training and awareness around all child safeguarding
What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
- Periodically monitors electronic child and family records
captured within the program's database system for accuracy and
completeness, including but not limited to attendance, meal counts,
health, family engagement, and education data.
- Identifies irregularities in the data, and anticipates areas
where there is potential for inaccuracies, and provides technical
support to Content Area Managers and other staff, as needed, to
correct errors in the database, as well as build their skills and
knowledge of data management. Assists staff in the development of
and execution on corrective action plans, as needed.
- Generates monthly dashboard summary reports providing a
snapshot of the accuracy and completeness of records in all

- Perform other related work.
- Minimum Associate Degree in computer science, business, or
office systems technology or relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years' data entry experience using a database
- Excellent organizational skills detail and multitask
capabilities. Must work well under stress. Must have a strong
desire to succeed. Must be patient, creative, resourceful, and able
to resolve conflicts.
- Provide technical assistance relating to ChildPlus, TSC, or
other database software systems.
Clear criminal records check (including child abuse registry
check if required by state regulations) and pass all state and
local health requirements required post job offer and prior to
employment. To drive agency vehicles (if applicable), must have a
valid driver's license and be insurable by the Save the Children
Head Start insurance carrier and have a Motor Vehicle Record
acceptable to Save the Children Head Start. Current and former Head
Start/Early Head Start parents will receive preference for
