SummaryLighting Field Developer's primary job function is to assist in performing detailed lighting and controls Audit. The Level 2 Field Developer's role is to accurately record all existing lighting systems and controls at assigned facilities or areas and provide enhanced input for the written summary. The Lighting Field Developer Level 2 employee should be able to perform these tasks without direct supervision.Qualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to travel without restrictions, 2 years' experience in IGA audits and specifying lighting retrofit solutions, have a good understanding of electrical systems, the ability to complete technical written summaries, ability to effectively communicate with the Proposal Developers, co-works, and supervisors.Minimum QualificationsEducation Requirements:HS Diploma.Experienced in both Excel and Microsoft word.2 years' experience in Investment Grade Lighting Audits.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesLighting Field Developer - Level 2 individuals work closely with other Level 1, 2 & level 3 auditors, Manager Field Development Lighting, and Director of Field Development.The Level 2 Lighting Field Developer must be proficient in the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:Proficient in Excel, EDMS, and Acrobat.General understanding of electrical construction.Reasoning and problem-solving abilities.Verbal and written communication skills.Display potential leadership qualities.Continue to educate self in industry trends and products.Milestone Training/Review Regime:Milestone goals to elevate to Level 3 auditorAbility to accurately enter data in EDMS and successfully upload captured data.Proficient in IFS time entry.Proficient in Certify.Able work independently.Improve communication skills.Display leadership abilities.Ability and willingness to assist with training and educating Level 1 & Level 2 auditors.Improve working knowledge of RFP requirements, SED, title 24, UFC, etc.Essential FunctionsRequired to ensure that all data collected is accurate and complete.Required to follow instructions.Communicating with co-auditors, Project Developers, and Supervisors.Physical DemandsWalk and stand for a minimum of 7 hours a day.Climb stairs and ladders.Carry and 8' ladder.Walk the perimeter of buildings.Drive vehicles for extended periods of time.Work EnvironmentSchools, Office buildings, Military bases, Public Housing, Manufacturing facilities.Convention/Sports arenas.Municipal facilities.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this job.
