agents.-- - Position Summary-- - The Event Coordinator coordinates
various onboarding initiatives, learning activities and projects
for The Assurance Group. This position provides several different
training avenues to support all the front line agents and managers.
-- -Is responsible identifying and introducing critical educational
information, tools and expertise that will promote success.-- -
Primary Responsibilities: Identifies venues and negotiates
contracts for all TAG events and incentive tripsOversees the
coordination of onsite and virtual events, including coordinating
VIP arrivals, departures, security measures, guest management, room
set up.-- -Communicate with meeting attendees regarding
registrations, itineraries, and updatesOn site liaison for all ASB
meetingsPrepares and monitors budgets for all events and approve
all payments/invoices/deposits -- -for all meetings with accounting
departments from ASB, Integrity, and various venuesManagement of
coordination of pandemic communications with ASB management, staff,
event attendees, and venuesIdentify and manage relationships with
relevant vendors including food and beverage, AV contracts,
printers, live streaming companies, etc.-- -Keep current on trends
and changes within the meeting industry to improve the
quality.Determines audio/visual needs for an optimal visual and
audio experience.Handles escalated issues to provide effective
resolution.Purchases company incentive gifts, for meetings, as well
as holidays Qualifications: -- - High level of expertise of
Microsoft Office Suite with special focus on Word, Excel and
PowerPoint (graphing, presentation building and spreadsheet
development)Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
including phone and video conference presenceProven ability to
prioritize and manage work flow with frequent interruptions (time
management)Must enjoy being challenged with a variety of activities
and responsibilitiesFlexible in adapting to changing environments.
Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitudeConfident,
self-starter who works well independentlyStrong communication
skills, both oral and writtenAbility to travel domestically and --
-internationallyMust be able to work fulltime in office. Education
and Experience: Bachelor--------s degree in Business, Hospitality,
Marketing, or related field. Or combination of education, skill,
and experience3+ years of professional event experience in a
