This job is responsible for analyzing and interpreting large
datasets to uncover potential revenue generation opportunities and
develop effective risk management strategies. Key responsibilities
include collaborating with key stakeholders to comprehend business
problems, utilizing data gathering and analysis techniques to
devise solutions, and presenting recommendations based on the

- Performs business analytics, which includes data analysis,
trend identification, and pattern recognition, using advanced
techniques (e.g., machine learning, text mining, statistical
analysis, etc.) to support decision-making and drive data-driven

development, deployment, and maintenance
- Creates and maintains technical documentation, capturing the
business requirements and specifications related to the developed

seasoned and energetic professional to join our team as a Data
Scientist and help us deliver data science products to the
production environment especially for scalable graph analytics. In
this role, you will be expected to work on large and complex data
science projects. Collaborating with internal strategy, technology,
product, and policy partners to deploy advanced analytical
solutions with the goal of reducing fraud losses, lowering false
positive impacts, improving client experience, and ensuring the
Bank minimizes its total cost of fraud.It is unlawful in

tasks that this role may be responsible for include (but are not
limited to):--- Manage a roadmap of data science use cases for
technical development and implementation to the production
environment in close partnership with Bank of America Technology---
Manage relationships with multiple technology platform and
development team leaders including alignment of roadmaps, managing
projects, and managing risks--- Engage business and technology
senior leaders on reporting of project/deliverable statuses,
opportunity identification, and planning efforts--- Oversee
development, delivery and quality assurance for data science use
cases delivered to the production environment and other areas of
the line of business--- Perform complex analysis of financial
models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends to
understand product performance and improve portfolio risk,
profitability, performance forecasting, and operational
performance--- Coach and mentors peers to improve proficiency in a
variety of systems and serves as a subject matter expert on
multiple business and technical-related topics--- Support execution
of large scale projects, such as platform conversions or new
project integrations by conducting advanced reporting and drawing
analytics based insights--- Link Analysis/Graph analytics to find
and mitigate densely connected fraud networks--- Develop and tune
graph algorithms to maximize detection of fraud--- Assist with the
generation, prioritization, and investigation of fraud
ringsRequired Skills:--- A minimum of 3 years of experience in data
and analytics is required--- Must be proficient with SQL and one of
SAS, Python, or Java--- Critical problem-solving skills including
selection of data and analytical approach--- Experience providing
thought leadership, developing deliverables, and working with
limited direction on complex problems to achieve project goals---
Effective communication and influencing skills--- Thrives in
fast-paced and highly dynamic environment--- Intellectual curiosity
and strong urge to figure out the "whys" of a problem and come up
with creative solutions--- Experience handling data across its
lifecycle in a variety of formats and storage technologies (e.g.,
structured, semi-structured, unstructured; graph; hadoop; kafka)---
Experience with data analytics and/or technical development
lifecyclesDesired Skills:--- Advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate)
preferably in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math),
business, or finance--- 5+ years of experience; work in financial
services is very helpful, with preference to fraud, credit,
cybersecurity, or other heavily quantitative areas--- Experience in
data engineering work including defining data requirements,
designing and building pipelines (e.g., DDL, DML), quality testing,
and post development evaluation--- Understanding of data quality
dimensions, performance of data quality assessments, and the
build/maintenance of proactive monitoring of data across its
lifecycle--- Understanding of advanced analytics techniques,
especially supervised and unsupervised machine learning development
and maintenance, graph analytics development, and related
statistical methods--- Familiarity with data science tools such as
H2O, Hadoop, TigerGraph, or similar advanced analytical tools---
Experience engaging with cross-functional teams and in large
multi-organization formal projects--- Understanding of computer
science topics like automation, code versioning, computational
complexity, parallel processing, requirements gathering, testing
methodologies, and development lifecycle models like Agile---
Experience with administrative and compliance duties such as access
management, technical documentation, change management, issue
