Job Description:

As a Data Center Technician, you are a primary resolver for your support team, and are skilled at troubleshooting one or more operating systems. You are able to troubleshoot and solve all but the most complex infrastructure issues. Issues are escalated to the appropriate resolver groups when necessary. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support. You know how to innovate and make decisions on your own, but also know how to take direction when it is given, paying attention to all details involved.
You are able to execute small projects on your own and work with your manager in planning and executing larger local projects. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support. You are able to deliver results within the scope and tight deadlines.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing server deployment and maintenance in data centers. Including; installing services and switches, un-racking servers and racking replacements, ethernet, fiber and power cable wiring, replacing disk drives and memory, and diagnosing hardware issues. What You Will Be Doing

• Help remotely diagnose hardware problems, facilitate server repairs, and manage hardware assets
• Translate requirements from network architects and engineers into specific deployment plans, network designs and network pages
• Ensure design plans and packages are implemented accurately and efficiently Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience working in a data center environment
  • Ability to lift 50-70 pounds and to un-box and move equipment
  • Must have reliable transportation. The job requires movement between locations that may not have access to public transportation.
