Mechanic Summary
Perform various manual tasks necessary to repair, build, and overhaul machinery and electrical equipment in the plant.
This is a 2nd Shift position with hours of 3PM-11:30PM, M-F. Pay range between $23-24.99/hr BOE.
Mechanic Responsibilities and Duties

  • Utilize the proper tools to disassemble, assist in preparing, and to reassemble machinery as directed.
  • Clean and lubricate parts and machinery as directed.
  • Refinish and fabricate parts as needed.
  • Report any dangerous conditions to the appropriate personnel immediately.
  • Clean work areas.
  • Obtain parts as needed.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints.
  • Install electrical conduit and electrical devices.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems using a multimeter and amprobe.
  • Repair safety items on Monthly Safety Inspection Mechanic Qualifications
    • Valid NC Drivers License
    • Forklift License
    • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A basic knowledge of relay logic and P.L.C. operation is required.
