Position Details:

Title: Die Repair Technician
Location: High Point, NC
Shift: 1st 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM M-F
3rd 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM M-F
2 Saturdays per month
Compensation: $25.50 or 29 per hour + overtime (an average of 56 hr/wk)
Potential signing bonus of $10k & yearly pay increase

Position Description: The Die Repair Technician role is similar to a mechanic role as the main purpose is to set up and operate machinery for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on damaged dies. Duties will focus on repairing dies using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders. You will be required to measure, examine, and test dies for any defects and to ensure it meets specifications. Additional duties include properly securing all types of fixtures and attachments to machines, monitoring die accuracy during fabrication process, determining product dimensions and tolerances, as well as appropriately laying out, measuring, and marking metal stock to display the placement for cuts.

Requirements:
--- Experience reading blueprints and operating computers.
--- Knowledge of machines, troubleshooting, technical plans, and design models.
--- Journeyman classification or apprenticeship (4 years/8,000 hours) preferred.
--- Certificate of Qualification or eight years of practical experience preferred.
