Position Details:

Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: High Point, NC
Shift: 2nd 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM M-F
3rd 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM M-F
2 Saturdays per month
Compensation: $25.50-29 per hour + overtime (an average of 56 hr/wk)

Position Description: Maintenance Mechanic will perform work involving 2+ maintenance occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment operational. Duties may include pipe fitting, insulating, welding, machining, installing, aligning, repairing structures, and more. The role will provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance for production equipment. Additional responsibilities include diagnosing equipment problems based on error messages, test results, or operator reports, preventative machine maintenance, regular hardware inspections and tests, and equipment installation.

Requirements:
--- Knowledge of machines and tools including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and the application to mechanical structures and processes.
--- Critical thinking skills for determining operation errors, necessary equipment based on problems, and solution execution.
--- Physical ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach as well as to do coordinated movements with fingers to grasp, manipulate, and assemble small objects.
--- High School Diploma or equivalent.
