This role is responsible for working with departmental leaders to develop and implement actions to meet plant goals and deliverables.   • Plant location: High Point, NC
  • Compensation package offered: -$23.50 per hour
  • Available Shift: 3rd Shift, 10:00PM - 6:30AMWhat You Will Do: -
    • Establish standard work and assist in training
    • Coordinate equipment and labor to minimize downtime
    • May back fill forklift operators or other positions as needed
    • Participate in developing, deploying, and using continuous improvement systems
    • Identify safety hazards through safety audits and initiatives.
    • Recommend corrective actions
    • Communicate maintenance needs, quality issues or other situations that impact safety, quality or productivity to supervisor.
    • Work closely with the Quality team
    • Continuously identify opportunities for system and process waste elimination
    • Ensure constant communication with management on
    • daily activities and challenges
    • Participate in selecting and developing new hire -
    • Ensure the warehouse is clean and maintained
    • -Successfully complete classroom and on the job training -
    • -Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications: -
      • High School diploma or GED
      • 2 years of plant or warehouse experience in a related field -
      • 2 Years of Standup Forklift experience
      • Basic computer skills Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

        • Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
        • Must be able to pass a drug screen -Preferred Qualifications: -
          • TPM knowledge and experience
          • Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma systems -
          • Basic computer knowledge -
          • Professional experience coaching, mentoring and providing feedback
