Chassis Driver Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Deliver supreme internal and external customer servicePulling/Fueling/Staging unitsPre-Trip Inspection (when applicable)Driving short/long distancesIdentify stock numbers clearly (in front windshields)Read and interpret data (work orders)Navigate roads and highwaysClimb in and out of units daily Chassis Driver Required Education, Knowledge & Skills:Maintain a valid driver's license (Class B)Maintain a clean driving recordMin of 3 years truck driving experience Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.Able to back up, drive and maneuver units in tight areasIdentify potential hazards before moving unitsAble to navigate roads and highwaysAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions.
