stabilization, and preparation for transport of ill and injured
patients.
- Assesses the nature and extent of injury or illness to
establish and prioritize care.
- Administer first aid treatment or life support care to sick or
injured person.
- Remain calm in stressful situations to quickly gather facts,
evaluate situations, draw conclusions, develop plan of care, and
act.
- Provides compassionate, responsive, and accurate patient
care.
- Document patient health information per clinic policy.
- Notify Giti Tire Department leaders and EHS Department per
clinic policy regarding Workman's Compensation injuries and clinic
recommendations for patients to leave.
- Coordinate transport with emergency medical teams or police or
fire department personnel when needed.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal.
Elevated level of people skills to ensure appropriate communication
with manager, co-workers, hospital personnel, Giti Tire
departments/management team, and outside resources. Ability to
apply critical thinking skills to all situations.
- Checking, restocking, inventorying, and cleaning any equipment
operated by the clinic.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assure that all certifications, licenses, and registrations are
up to date. Additional Job DescriptionMinimum Requirements:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Experience: One year of patient care work experience in a health
care facility, Certified Nursing Assistant, EMT or Paramedic
certification, Bachelor's Degree or enrollment in a healthcare
related program with successful completion of a Nursing Assistant,
Medical Assistant, or Nursing Fundamentals course at an accredited
institution or equivalent training preferred. Credentials: Basic
Life Support required within 2 weeks of hire. Thereafter, must
maintain Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for
Healthcare Providers certification is required. If you like working
