Job Description:
Global Payments Inc., a leader in payment technology and
software solutions, is seeking a Merchant Sales Representative to
expand our reach and serve our customers globally. This role
requires a dynamic individual capable of achieving our sales
targets and driving the adoption of our payment solutions. As a
Merchant Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in
fostering long-term relationships with merchants while promoting
our innovative products and services. Your efforts will play a key
role in our continuous growth and in maintaining our position as a
leader in the global payments industry. Identify and target
potential merchant clients within assigned territories. Present and
promote payment solutions to prospective customers. Negotiate
contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. Maintain and
expand customer relationships by providing exceptional service.
Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
Analyze market trends and competitors’ activities to identify
opportunities. Prepare sales reports and keep management informed
with accurate client and territory data. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Proven ability to negotiate and close deals.
Ability to deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
Proficient in CRM software and MS Office. Strong analytical skills
to identify market trends and sales opportunities. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional Sales
certification (e.g., CPSA Sales certification) is preferred.
