Position Objectives Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the sales
& marketing team to develop and implement strategic business
development plans. Set clear objectives and key performance
indicators to track success. Relentlessly drive and achieve your
sales objectives. Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends,
market demands, capital improvement plans, and competitor
activities. Conduct thorough market analysis to identify
opportunities for business expansion. Networking: Attend industry
events, conferences, political meetings, and networking functions
to represent the company and establish connections with potential
clients, partners, and influencers. Grow and maintain presence in
the Charlotte region capitalizing on our diverse experience,
expertise, and diverse services. Client Engagement: Develop and
nurture relationships with prospective clients, understanding their
design and specialty service needs, and effectively communicating
how our services align with their goals. Building the Pipeline:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to ensure a pipeline
of new work. Brand Expansion: Guide initiatives to increase the
company's footprint in identified regional markets through
strategic marketing, advertising, and sponsorships that align with
our primary markets. Response Development: Contribute to the
development of engaging packages (or custom statements) that
showcase our capabilities and address client requirements. Project
Transition: Collaborate with the project management team to ensure
seamless transition from business development to project
initiation. Partnering: Form strategic relationships with other
firms to leverage partnership opportunities when they do not have
an expertise. Requirements 5 years’ work experience in sales and
business development function of relevant markets. Experience with
public entities, strongly preferred. Exceptional interpersonal and
communication skills. Strong understanding of architectural /
engineering / design principles and the ability to communicate
effectively with clients and internal teams. Proven track record of
successfully meeting and exceeding business development
targets.
