Position Description: CGI Federal is looking for a Common Cloud Environment Support Lead to help support a program we are working on for the Army's PL ALTESS contract. PL ALTESS, or Product Lead for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services, is a key U.S. Army organization providing IT services and support to the Army and Department of Defense. As a managed service provider, ALTESS delivers infrastructure, platform, and application services across data centers and commercial clouds. It plays a crucial role in modernizing IT systems by migrating them to the cloud and managing mission-critical applications to ensure Army readiness. ALTESS oversees IT service delivery across various hosting locations, aligning with Department of Defense digital transformation strategies as part of PEO Enterprise. This position is located in Radford, VA. Your future duties and responsibilities: Under direct supervision of Services Management Division Chief, oversees the management of a team of Cloud Architects, System Administrators, System Engineers, and Technical Project Managers who implement, manage, and administer all Common Cloud Environment (C2E) customer projects within the AWS/Azure cloud environments. Reviews all Service Level Agreements (SLA), Addendums, and cost estimates prepared for customer projects. Serves as the principal point of representation and liaison with C2E customers on operational matters and provides day-to-day technical/professional guidance and leadership as appropriate to the area of expertise. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: a) Experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, related scientific or technical discipline. b) Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification or DAWIA Level III in Program Management. c) DoD Secret Security Clearance. d) Position requires the ability to relate to customers in a professional manner. e) Have an active DoD Secret security clearance. f) Strong verbal and written communication skills. g) Experience effectively managing multiple large-scale projects. Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: a) Bachelor's degree in a technical/business discipline or equivalent years of experience managing application development projects. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100,800.00 - $198,400.00.
